Even with an e-bike, this ride earns its advanced rating due to the relentless 2,372 ft climb, steep 10.8% average grade, elevation gain above 7,900 ft, and the need for sure-footed riding on rough surfaces. Battery planning, braking confidence, and overall endurance are essential.
