🌟 Ride Overview:
Ride the Rim is one of the most breathtaking and unique cycling events in Oregon! For two Saturdays each September, 24 miles of Crater Lake’s East Rim Drive are closed to cars, allowing cyclists to enjoy a car-free, awe-inspiring ride along the rim of a volcanic caldera. πŸŒ²πŸŒ€
With steep climbs, high altitude, and winding descents, this is a ride to remember β€” and conquer.

⛰️ Elevation Gain: ~3,500 ft
πŸ•’ Estimated Duration: ~3+ hours
πŸ”— Surface: 100% paved
πŸ“ Elevation Range: ~6,500–7,700 ft

🎯 Who’s this ride for?
Experienced riders looking for a bucket-list challenge in one of Oregon’s most scenic parks. This ride includes long climbs, high-elevation riding, and some narrow segments, so confidence with descents and good endurance are key.

πŸ”΄ Why Advanced?
Ride the Rim is considered advanced due to the significant elevation gain (~3,500 ft), high-altitude riding, remote location, and variable weather conditions. Even with an e-bike, you’ll need solid fitness, smart power management, and climbing confidence to fully enjoy this unforgettable ride.

πŸ“ NOTE: This is not an officially guided group ride. Each participant must register independently via the Ride the Rim website. We’ll coordinate meetup & group riding options for those interested in staying together. πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ’¨
