Eagle Cap Wilderness Trip of a lifetime

After a long hiatus, 5 days (+/- 1/2 day) to make an EPIC Eagle Cap Wilderness backpacking trip! I’ve always wanted to make a late June early July trip in with low snowfall, this would be the year to do it. The early summer makes for beautiful flowers and dreamy green scenery

Tentatively, parking at Two Pan Trail Head and doing a 30+ mile loop passing/staying in the beautiful Lakes Basin area. I have allocated two weeks and if you would be able to make the trip, but would like to shift a few few days, it can be arranged. You can't be here without making Eagle Cap peak to see the vastness of the entire Eagle Cap area. This is the trip where it all began for me (up the Lostine River as a 10 year old).

There are many trail/loop possibilities, Details will be firmed up as we approach. We will be meeting a few times to discuss and plan. 5 nights makes for more food and a heavier pack. This will be a week you will never forget.
