The Bend Photographers Meetup Group aims to bring all levels of photographers together through shooting, sharing, and socializing in order to help them to improve their skills and expand their knowledge and passion about photography.
We began in 2008 as a focal point for local, aspiring photographers to come together to share, learn, network and explore their passion for photography. We are a welcoming, inclusive group of photographers ranging from beginning through professional levels of skill. We emphasize an interactive development of our skills through a diverse blend of classes, outings, socials, and photo reviews. We emphasize both the technical and artistic aspects of photography. We foster learning as a community of photographers through shooting, sharing, and discussing our photos.

FEES
Membership fees: to cover admin costs and purchase equipment and supplies to directly support members: $35 (365 days). Membership fees will restart in January 2, 2024. 60 DAY FREE TRIAL.
Event Fees: We rarely charge for event fees. If we funds for an honorarium or something like big photocopying expenses, we may charge a small event fee, like $5.

Hi Folks,
We have a meeting scheduled to discuss possible changes to the operation of the photo group followed by a vote on how we choose to proceed.
An email to all of the members on the photo group mailing list was sent out today, August 31st. That email goes into considerable depth. This announcement provides an avenue for members to RSVP for the meeting.
If you did not receive the email, then there probably is an issue with the email address on record with the Meetup organization. Oscar and I don't have that information.

ABOUT BIG E’S
Finally, a word about Big E’s. This week I spoke with Eric the owner who informed me that the sale of the property is tentatively scheduled for September 15th. Little is known about the new owner and her plans for the property and our possible use in the future.
