Hello and thank you for joining Bend Social Group!
My name is Julie 👋 I look forward to meeting new friends and planning a nice variety of events for my members. I moved to Bend 8 years ago to be closer to family. I have enjoyed being a part of the Meetup community here.
Whether you have lived in Bend for a while, you're new to town, or you are considering moving here, we welcome you. Our members will be of varying ages and diversity. Many people move here to retire or to be closer to their children or grandchildren. You will be in good company!
I especially enjoy planning events related to happy hour, food trucks, bars, restaurants, open mic nights, live music at bars/food truck venues. You will see a lot of evening events 🍷🍻 I WILL BE HAVING SINGLES EVENTS🥰!
All events are FREE, there are NO DUES to join. The organizer pays a bi-annual subscription fee to Meetup (to manage the group). I will have 2 donation opportunities per year for cash donations. Donating is not mandatory, but greatly appreciated. Some events may require buying a ticket such as movies or plays.

GUIDELINES AND POLICIES:
***Attending events***
All events will have an attendee limit based on the venue and type of event. Events can fill up quickly. When the event is full, a waitlist will start. Members are moved over from the waitlist to RSVP going in the order of when they signed up. It is beneficial to download the Meetup App and have notifications ON. This way you will get notices of being moved from a waitlist, notices of new events, comments under the events, changes in dates or times or specifics on directions. Please keep your RSVP current at all times. If you sign up for something and you can't make it, please update your RSVP. This will allow others on a waitlist to attend. Giving 24-hour notice is ideal. However, life happens, things come up and we understand that. No shows are not acceptable, and we do keep track of how many a member has.

***Pets... Pets are not allowed at the events unless it is specifically stated in the event description.
