Hear and Tell Stories

Time to gather and hear/tell stories, either on a monthly suggested theme, or whatever is on your mind. Stories can be inspired from:

*Your amazing life, or that of someone in your life
*History
*Folktales
*Your fertile imagination.

Each month, we pick a theme for those who want to be challenged by the idea of coming up with a story to fit the theme.

We meet on Zoom currently, for two hours, and we practice the art of deep listening so that each storyteller can enjoy telling their stories to a rapt audience. We all mute our mics for the storyteller.

During the first half, we listen to those people who have taken the time to prepare their stories. After a moment to sit with the story, each teller has the option to ask for feedback or not. our aim is always to provide feedback which uplifts and instructs, never to one-down or insult.

During the second half, we open up the spotlight to anyone who is working on a story in progress, who is inspired to tell a story based on what was shared during the first hour, or "experimental story telling."

Every night is a little different, and we would be tickled pink and purple and blue if you would join us!
