Brewery Tour & Tastings - The Abbey at Monkless Belgian Ales (not the Old Mill)

Details
One of our new members, Kingsley, offered to give our group a private brewery tour at no cost! Thanks, Kingsley ! He is a brewer at Monkless Belgian Ales.
**
There is no charge for the tour**. Many breweries charge for a tours. We just need to pay for our tasting flights or pints. We have the option to sit inside or outside.
Pretzels and cheese are available at this location. No food menu or food trucks. Kingsley told me they are just steps away from Bevel Craft Brewing which offers four food trucks and they look like really good ones! Although I won't be going to Bevel, I encourage those interested to pop in at Bevel when we are finished with our Monkless Meetup which will be 6 PM.

"Tucked inside our production brewery, The Abbey at Monkless Belgian Ales offers an intimate, old-world tasting experience reminiscent of a traditional Belgian pub. Sip and savor among Belgian antiques, soft lighting, and an old-world charm, Enjoy a curated selection of Belgian-style ales, wine, cider, non-alcoholic options, and Belgian-inspired snacks. Whether you're lingering over a favorite pour or sampling a flight of Belgian ales, The Abbey invites you to slow down and savor the moment."
Monks perfected the art of brewing through centuries of study, patience, and dedication, shaping many of the traditions that define Belgian-style ales today. Brewmaster Todd Clement may not be a monk, but his passion and meticulous approach to brewing are nothing short of devout. His travels across Belgium and Europe ignited a deep appreciation for the complexity, tradition, and excellence of true Belgian ales—an inspiration that now fuels Monkless Belgian Ales.
"With a PhD in Organic Chemistry from UC Davis and a background in process chemistry, Todd brings a scientific precision to every batch. His meticulous attention to craftmanship, consistency, and excellence ensures that each beer reflects the character of Belgian brewing while embracing new possibilities. Our biers are steeped in heritage, driven by innovation, and crafted for those who love Belgian ales—and those who have yet to discover them."
