Women’s Cancer Patient Support Group First Meet & Greet - The Grove Market Hall

Welcome to Bendite Women’s In-Person Patient Cancer Support Group! We invite you to our Meet & Greet at The Grove in Northwest Crossing.

Has your life been impacted by a recent or past personal cancer diagnosis? Have you not been able to find a local in-person patient cancer support group? It’s a challenge.

Bendite Women’s In-Person Patient Cancer Support Group could benefit you no matter where you are in your cancer journey (newly diagnosed, receiving treatment, previously diagnosed, finished treatment, in remission, NED, “watch and wait”).

At the beginning of each meeting, we will “check in” with each person to see how things are going. If you’d rather not share/just listen, that is fine as well. If anyone prefers to join anonymously, please contact me at 541-350-3426 and I will get you on the attendee list.

Our new women’s cancer patient support group is a comforting place to experience emotional support and connection.

No matter your diagnosis, we are here for you. We’ll listen with compassion, share experiences, provide book suggestions, and exchange information. For example, did you know the Summit Medical Oncology Department closed this month? Patients are being referred to the St. Charles Cancer Center.

Surprisingly, there are not many in-person patient cancer support groups in Bend. The only one I’m aware of is through St. Charles and they only meet once every two months. The in-person support group I attended through my church disbanded during the pandemic. That's why we started this group!
