🥾Hike Shevlin Park Loop Trail Moderate 4.5

Details
Let’s head back to Shevlin Park for one of our favorite hikes, a Moderate 4.5 mile hike along the Shevlin** Loop Trail**. Can't believe it's been since March the last time we did this loop trail.
This hike has been popular with my group since I began scheduling it about three years ago.
(You may be familiar with the easy, flat Tumalo Creek Trail which I schedule very often) **This is a more challenging trail in terms of miles, elevation, and trail conditions!
We're gonna get an early start to beat the heat and stay comfortable!
Bring plenty of water.
Hiking poles recommended.
There are some narrow rocky sections of this trail looking way down upon the river. Hiking poles would be beneficial during these sections.
No dogs please.
Parking
Tumalo Creek Trail is accessed from Shevlin Park and is located at 18920 Northwest Shevlin Park Road, Bend, OR. (not to be confused with Tumalo State Park)! There are a few parking options on either side of Shevlin Park Rd. Use the Southern Aspen Meadows parking lot. Meet at the restrooms. If you're having trouble finding a parking space at Aspen Meadow, park at Aspen Hall, ,which is located on the opposite side of Shevlin Park Road Rd, and walk back to Aspen Meadow to meet us at the restrooms.
