It's time for one of my favorite Fall hikes! From Riley Ranch, we will hike 6 miles out and back from Riley ranch into the the Canyon Trail and continue to Tumalo State Park.

“ Directions to Riley Ranch Nature Reserve in Bend, Oregon:
From Highway 97 North in Bend, take Exit 135B for NE Empire Avenue.
Turn left onto Empire Avenue and drive for 0.5 miles.
Turn right onto O.B. Riley Road and continue north for 0.7 miles.
Turn left onto NW Glen Vista Road and drive for 0.6 miles.
At a sharp left turn in the road, follow Glen Vista for 0.1 miles and turn right into the parking area.
Parking and access
The address for Riley Ranch Nature Reserve is 19975 Glen Vista Rd, Bend, OR 97701.
There are two ADA-accessible parking spaces available near the trailhead.
Important rules and information
Dogs are not permitted in the reserve.
The reserve offers a variety of trails, including an accessible paved path near the parking lot and more rugged trails that lead down into the canyon toward the Deschutes River.
Year-round restrooms (pit toilets) are located near the trailhead. “
