🥾 Hike/Walk Deschutes River Trail!

We’re headed back to the beautiful Deschutes River Trail!We’ll begin at Farewell Bend Park. This 3 mile round-trip hike is mostly flat and considered easy. However there are a few sections that require good balance and proper footwear.

Weather Forecast: Mid 50s.
Bring water.
**Footwear: Trail shoes or hiking shoes mandatory!!! **
No dogs this time, sorry.
Hiking poles optional.

A bit about the trail:

“Located from Farewell Bend Park and Riverbend Park through the South Canyon, this section features trail on both sides of the Deschutes River connected by a footbridge approximately 1.5 miles upstream of the Farewell Bend Park bridge.

On this seemingly instant escape from the hustle and bustle of Bend’s activity, you’ll enjoy traveling alongside the Deschutes River as it rushes through a beautiful canyon, cascading over rocks and logs.”
