🥾 Let’s go to Clear Lake Resort to experience a moderate pace beautiful hike with views of this stunningly blue lake!

I like to go to this resort at least three times a year because it is so special! The drive is absolutely gorgeous as well!

This time we will not be doing the loop, so it will be mostly flat with lots of shade. We won’t be climbing over lots of lava rocks this time.

About the hike:

Distance: 5 Miles
Difficulty: Moderate pace and distance
Elevation gain: 239 ft
Hike Duration: 2+ hours. We don’t want to rush while enjoying the beauty!
Parking is very limited!!!! Scroll down for instructions.

What to bring:

Hiking boots or trail shoes
Water mandatory on the trail!!!
Snack
Poles optional
No dogs please.

Restrooms are available only at the resort trail head.
There is a small store where you can buy snacks or coffee.

Arrive at least 15 mins early to allow for parking & introductions. If anybody is late and we have already started the hike, catch up to us. We're starting at the trail head past the cabins, not the trail head at the parking area.

Be on time!!!! There is NO Cell Service at the resort. If you need to reach me before you get to the resort, my cell is 541-350-3426.

How to find us:

Parking is very limited !!! Park at the Day Use Area. Meet at the store. When you enter resort, you’ll drive down a little hill. Turn right into day use parking area. If lot is full, park along road you drive down when you enter the resort or in front of the little red Lodge (store/restaurant) where we'll meet.
