Join us for our monthly WordPress Bengaluru meetup, an afternoon of talks, discussion, and networking with the local WordPress community. September takes us to Indiranagar, where BlogVault is hosting. This month's talk is on security, a problem that has changed shape now that AI is involved in both building sites and breaking into them. Bring the questions you have been meaning to ask someone.
Speaker & Topic
This month, Prem Tiwari, Lead WordPress Engineer, takes the stage with "WordPress Security in the Age of AI".
AI has changed how websites get built and managed, and how they get attacked. Prem will go through the risks that have moved for WordPress, the threats worth watching right now, and what holds up against them. If you maintain sites for clients or run your own, that last part is the one to stay for.
Prem has spent 12+ years building WordPress for enterprises on WordPress VIP Go, across backend and full stack development, performance optimisation, and engineering leadership. He is an active WordPress Core Contributor, and works on custom plugins and themes, Gutenberg blocks, multisite, and enterprise security. For UK media brands including The Sun, Virgin Radio, TalkTV and TalkSport, he built AI features: content personalisation, intelligent search, and automation workflows running on machine learning APIs. Away from work, badminton.
