Sangha Gathering with Dawn Scott

We invite you to join us for our next sangha meeting on Sunday, May 3, 2026, 4-6 pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 120 East J Street, Benicia.
We will be gathering in St. Paul’s Parish Hall to watch our teacher, Dawn Scott, give an online Dharma talk on the topic “Spiritual Friendship and the Art of Situation Crafting”
Situation Crafting in the social science of creating conditions that bring out the best in a group and/or an individual. One could see the teachings of the Buddha as an elegant situation crafting with the aim of creating conditions that gradually led to awakening. We’ll explore how the teaching of spiritual friendship is a brilliant form of situation crafting that supports the liberation of the heart.
The structure of this gathering is a 30-minute meditation, followed by a 20-minute tea and social period, concluding with a dharma talk (teachings) and Q and A.
Since this talk is being offered online. You may join us in the St. Paul’s Parish Hall to enjoy the gathering with friends or login to participate from home via Zoom.
