For people who are interested in walking where the LT used to be before the stone staircase was created in the 1970's. We will walk the old LT from the Woodford Town Hall area to the current LT at the top of the stones coming up from Route 9, and then retrace our path. Elevation gain about 900 feet and distance about 4 miles round trip. This is not an established, well-traveled trail. Usual hiking preparation - good footwear, water, snacks, tick repellent, poles if desired.
