Hike the Money Brook Falls Traverse

Advance scouting for this hike revealed that Greylock Mountain will not unlock the gate on Notch Road until May 23. Therefore this trip will be an out and back hike. We will meet at the Bennington Rec Center at 9 AM and carpool 30 minutes to the Haley Farm parking area on Hopper road on Mt Greylock in Massachusetts. It will be more strenuous than previously described, gaining about 1000 feet and then descending this over a total of 6 miles. Many wildflowers will be blooming, and the falls should be impressive at this date.
Hiking poles and sturdy shoes are recommended. Warm clothes and rain gear are sometimes required as the conditions can be unpredictable. Any changes required by weather will be posted on Meet-Up.
