Hike to the Snow Hole in June

We will meet at 9AM at the Bennington Rec Center to carpool 30 minutes to the Petersburg Pass on Route 2 in Williamstown, Mass. The hike is a moderate 5.2 mile round trip walk, along the Taconic Crest Trail to the Snow Hole.
There will still be spring wildflowers, and we may find snow remaining in this deep crevice in the bedrock.
Sturdy shoes and hiking poles are recommended. We may encounter black flies, so bug repellant and a head net may be useful.
