Fall Trail Work on the Long Trail

Join us for our fall trail work day on the Long and Appalachian Trails.

We'll do light clipping, water bar maintenance, and clear blowdowns as needed between Harmon Hill and Maple Hill, utilizing the 23 Water Bar shortcut to give us easier access to the northern sections of the trail.

The club has several loppers and hazel/rogue hoes to share around, but if you have your own hand tools including hand saws, feel free to bring them along.

Meet at 9AM at the LT/AT parking lot on the north side of route 9.
Sturdy hiking boots or shoes, and work pants are advised. Bring work gloves, rain jacket/warm layers, water, lunch and snacks. We can work in light, intermittent rain, but will reschedule as needed for heavier weather.

Ending time is approximate. You are welcome to join us for as little or long as you can.
