Details
Welcome all (members and friends alike) to the GMC Bennington Section Fall Potluck Social!
We'll be gathering on Saturday, November 14, 2026 in the social hall of the Second Congregational Church on Hillside Street in Bennington.
Meet at 5:30 p.m. for socializing, with the potluck supper starting at 6PM. Bring a dish of your choice to share with the others. Also bring a beverage and whatever eating and serving items you will need such as plates, napkins, flatware and cups. Filtered water will be provided to fill your water bottle. Ann and Billy Martin will do a short presentation after the potluck. See below for details.
What Is?…the longest developed rail-trail in the US, 239 miles, the wide Missouri River, small towns, towering bluffs, wine country, farm lands, prairie, bridges, railroad history, restored railroad depots, part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, historic hotels - it’s all on the Katy Trail which crosses the state of Missouri.
Find out about the ride that Ann and Billy Martin completed in September. This will be a short 20 minute presentation. We hope that you can join us.
