Join us as we welcome Bensenville’s baseball expert, David Zeman, as he discusses Baseball During Wartime. David will discuss how America’s pastime persisted and adapted through periods of conflict, highlighting its influence on soldiers, civilians, and communities. The program explores the ways baseball boosted morale, fostered unity, and helped preserve a sense of normalcy during challenging times.

Flourishing Friends is a relaxed, friendly group for anyone who enjoys gardening or just wants to learn more. We chat about plants, share tips and ideas, swap stories, and enjoy spending time with people who like getting their hands dirty. No pressure, no expertise required, just good conversation and a shared love of growing things together.
