INTERMEDIATE Comedy Course! (Comedy Beginners Grads Only)

At last I am pleased to announce we are doing the next Intermediate comedy course. Having ran this multiple times before, this is for those who have beginners comedy course and want to take their comedy to another level whilst taking in all the benefits again from previous course.

INTERMEDIATE COMEDY NOVICES Course Aims
-To improve your act and confidence noticeably
-Do 7 min routine and show that you are performer someone would want to see do a full show eg 50 mins.
-Demonstrate character act/poem/song plus regular stand up.

Class 1
Audience work- Practice engaging with the audience.Asking questions and developing comedy from their answers.

Class 2
Heckling and Props
Dealing with heckling,dealing with distractions and what to do if a joke dies. Using props in comedy for extra entertainment value.

Class 3
Stagecraft
Physicalizing your act with movement and faces and sound.How to entertain and exert more.power over the audience.

Class 4
How to use song, poem.music in your act.The different types if song ideas and approaches

Class 5
Putting it all together.
Practising your new improved Power Comedy Act to blow people away with.

The course climaxes with the
Showcase gig at The Washington

At the final showcase students will be encouraged to show versatility and perfom character,song and stand up...but it's up to you!

In this course you will develop way more noticeably. Each week there is a homework presentation and the studying/practice of at least 2 topics.

No repetition of material from Comedy Beginners course...and suitable if you haven't done comedy for a while.
