What we’re about

This group is a space to connect around Amazigh cultures, in a broad, open and contemporary sense.

Across North Africa and beyond, Amazigh cultures are rich in languages, traditions, food, music and ways of life.

The goal of this group is to bring people together in a simple, human and welcoming way, through shared moments rather than formal discussions.

This is about meeting, exchanging, discovering and enjoying, not about politics or ideology.

Who we are hoping to meet:

  • People of Amazigh / Berber background, from any country
  • People curious about Amazigh cultures, languages and traditions
  • Locals and internationals interested in culture, food and language exchange
  • Open-minded people who enjoy calm conversations and meaningful encounters

You don’t need any specific knowledge — just curiosity, respect and a willingness to share.

Depending on the event, we may:

  • Meet for dinners or shared meals
  • Celebrate cultural moments such as Yennayer
  • Exchange around languages (Tamazight, Arabic, French, others)
  • Discover food, traditions and everyday cultural practices
  • Enjoy relaxed conversations in a friendly and respectful atmosphere

Events are generally small and intentionally limited to keep them warm and enjoyable.

This is a cultural and social group, not a political space, not a conference series, and not a networking club — simply a place to connect and share.
