Introduction to Git using the CLI

Welcome to the Git Workshop

Git has become the most commonly used tool for version control among developers, and it’s an essential skill to master in today’s development landscape. In this workshop, we will learn common commands and workflows in Git, as well as useful tips and tricks. We will be using Git in the command line/terminal to complete the exercises.

Helpful preparations:
• Create an account on github.com
• Install Git on your machine (this can also be done during the workshop)

Schedule:

• 17:00: Meet in the common area near the entrance for pizza 🍕
• 17:30: Presentation
• 18:00 - 20:00: Interactive workshop
