Introduction to database programming

Ever wondered how apps pull data from a database and display it on screen? In this hands-on workshop, you'll wire it all up yourself, from PostgreSQL queries to Java objects to a live web page using Spring Boot Data and JPA (Java Persistence API).

Important: For this workshop you'll need a few tools preinstalled. Bring a laptop with Docker Desktop and IntelliJ IDEA installed.

We will meet at 17:00 in the common area (near the main enterance) for free pizza. After that, a short presentation will be held, followed by the workshop.
