Introduction to Git using the CLI
Details
Whether you're collaborating on a team project or managing your own code, Git is the backbone of modern software development, and knowing it inside and out will set you apart.
This hands-on workshop takes you from your first `git commit` to branching, merging, and resolving conflicts - then straight into real team workflows using GitHub: pull requests, code reviews, and rebasing. You'll learn how to recover when things go wrong, using stash, reset, and cherry-pick.
Previous experience with the command line is helpful, but not required.
Helpful preparations:
• Create an account on github.com
• Install Git and VSCode on your machine (this can also be done during the workshop)
