The CLI (Command-line interface) is a developer's friend and power tool. Learn some of the most important commands and see how the CLI can supercharge your workday.
This workshop is well suited for anyone working with IT, not just software developers.
By the end of the workshop you'll know how to navigate the shell locally and remotely.
Preparation
- Bring a working laptop.
- Windows users: We'll use a linux based shell for this workshop. If you have Git installed you probably already have "Git Bash" (https://git-scm.com/download/win), or you can use Windows Subsystem for Linux (http://www.howtogeek.com/249966/how-to-install-and-use-the-linux-bash-shell-on-windows-10/ or https://www.howtogeek.com/790062/how-to-install-bash-on-windows-11/)
The workshop will be held at Høyteknologisenteret. Pizza will be served at 17:00, followed by a short presentation before we get hands on with exercises.
