Nyack Zen Meditation Group

This is a Zen meditation group in Nyack held at the Nyack Yoga Center aka American Legion Hall at 85 Piermont Ave, Nyack, NY. We meet weekly to do Zen meditation and explore other aspects of Zen practice. This group is open to people of any spiritual beliefs and beginners are welcome. This is always free and is attended by local people near Nyack, not just Meetup members. You can find more information at the Finding Clarity website.

The format is that we sit still in silence for 2 rounds of 20 minutes each with a short and silent break in between to walk or stretch. Afterwards we discuss our experiences together.

Chairs are provided along with yoga mats and blankets for support. You can bring your own cushions and sit in any posture. Please be 18 or older, or accompanied by a guardian.
