About us
The Amtgard Kingdom of Westmarch comprises of 18+ groups in Northern California, Nevada and Hawaii.
Amtgard is a nation wide medieval / fantasy combat game, We use safe foam 'weapons' supplemented by a magic system, to chase each other down & joyfully whack each other every week. Open to ages 13 up (though usually people over 60 don't play - usually)
So stop playing WOW! Stand up from your table top game, leave behind your MMORPG, and have some good fun!

- We meet at Johnson-Springview Park at 5480 5th St, Rocklin, CA 95677 on Saturdays from 12:30pm (to 4pm) until we decide to go grab Pizza. Come battle game and ditch with us!
- Fighter Practice is held weekly at Carmichael Park on Tuesdays from 6-9pm. Come hang out, swing some foam and meet up with other Sacramento Area Amtgard people while you improve your fighting skills.

Amtgard is fun and silliness. We are an action oriented LARP that has chapters across the country. If you feel like checking out the rulebook, wonder over to California Amtgard's website at http://caamtgard.com/docs/ (but you don't need to look at the rulebook before joining us, we're happy to go over things in person!)
Members start arriving between 11am and Noon; sparing and light games start about 11am; class battle games start at 12 noon go until we're tired.
