Architecting the Internet of Blockchains

This meetup will feature Sunny Aggarwal (http://www.sunnya97.com/), Research Scientist at Tendermint (https://tendermint.com/), and co-founder of Blockchain at Berkeley and the Cryptocurrency DeCal (https://blockchain.berkeley.edu/decal/). He was previously a developer and researcher at Consensys (https://consensys.net/) and has worked extensively on PoS and interoperability.

Abstract: Interoperating blockchains will create an ecosystem that is scalable, secure, private, and diverse. Much like the original Internet, the creation of an Internet of Blockchains will open many more possibilities than any single blockchain can provide. In this talk, Sunny will explore the ways in which the Tendermint and Cosmos projects help realize this goal of an "Internet of Blockchains" and delve into some of the architectural design decisions that went into these projects.
