Congratulations! You’ve resolved to be more creative in 2026. You made a list of projects. You bought the supplies. This should be a happy moment.

And yet… five minutes in, you’re slumped in a pile of felt scraps and sequins. Everything you make looks bad or stupid. You’ve burned yourself on the hot glue gun again. You start wondering if you should pack it all up and take up a safer hobby, like birdwatching.

Before you give up—pause.

The answer is NO. You don’t need a new hobby. You don’t need another trip to Michaels. You just need to come make some Bad Art with us.

At Craft Curious Club, we believe bad art is good for the soul. For one afternoon, we invite you to put your inner critic to sleep and make mistakes on purpose. Mix clashing colors. Glob on the glitter. Draw with your non-dominant hand. Let happy accidents happen. You might surprise yourself.

Please join us for an afternoon of creative nonsense and low-stakes making. Arlene Shirlee will guide us through a series of pointless yet highly engaging activities designed to bring the fun back to creating.

This is a sliding fee scale of $15-$25!
Email events@stickyartlab.com for more information.

Snacks and light refreshments provided. You can expect to leave with 1–3 finished Bad Art masterpieces—perfect for your fridge, your desk, or as truly unforgettable white elephant gifts.

Come make something weird. We promise: it doesn’t have to be good. ✨
