Fixit Clinic at Hardware and SoftWEAR Hacking Tuesdays

Join us at Sudoroom (in the Omni Commons) in Oakland Tuesday evenings for Hardware, Repair and SoftWEAR Hacking Nite. Bring your project to work on or help others with their projects.

This is also Fixit Clinic's weekly Oakland residency at Omni Commons: bring your broken, non-functioning things – electronic gadgets, appliances, computers, toys, etc.– for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. First-time repairers and “Fixing Families” are heartily encouraged to attend. SoftWEAR hacking too: the Omni Commons Sewing Lab is also active for textile projects and technical repairs, we’ve got many different types of sewing machines available including heavy duty and serger sewing machines. You’re also welcome to bring your own machine to have it checked out and tuned up or to just sew alongside others.
