Property

Details
"There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me;
Sign was painted, it said Private Property;
But on the back side it didn't say nothing;
That side was made for you and me."
- Woody Guthrie, "This Land is Your Land"
We'll discuss property and ownership, with particular emphasis on ownership of land. The meetup will take place at a private home near Suzette Crêpe Café in downtown Albany. We'll get refreshments first at the cafe (get them to go), and then head over to the home at around 7:30.

REMINDER: This is a reading group, and everyone who comes to this meetup is expected to have done the readings.
DIRECTIONS: The nearest BART station is El Cerrito Plaza, about a 15-minute walk to the cafe. AC Transit's 18 bus (http://transit.511.org/accessible/schedules/detail.aspx?cid=AC&rte=43790&dir=N&day=5998&dayid=5998) stops on Solano Ave. one block from the cafe; its route starts in Montclair and runs through downtown Oakland and downtown Berkeley.
FURNITURE: The home is unfurnished, except for a few chairs. If you are driving and can bring a chair, that would help. A table would help, too.
