🌸 Saree & Sip: A Lace Afternoon☕✨

Join Berkeley Saree Club for a special edition of Saree & Sip—an afternoon of beautiful textiles, treats and lace.

We’ll begin at Mëy Café & Bakery, where we can settle in over coffee and pastries, admire one another’s sarees and enjoy some unhurried conversation.

From there, we’ll take a short walk to the Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles for its 3:00 PM tour. Lacis is a wonderfully intimate Berkeley museum and shop devoted to lace, costume and textile arts. No knowledge of lace is needed—we’ll explore as curious beginners, looking closely at the materials, techniques and details that make these pieces special.

1:45 PM — Meet at Mëy Café & Bakery
2:45 PM — Walk together to Lacis
3:00–3:45 PM — Museum visit and tour

What to wear

Wear something lace-inspired, embroidered, sheer or romantically detailed—or simply a saree you love. This is a relaxed and welcoming gathering for saree enthusiasts of every experience level.

Café purchases are individual.

Please arrive on time so we can enjoy the café before walking to the museum together.
