Early Morning walk: Aldbury via The Ridgeway to Church Farm cafe

A walk for the early risers, enjoy the best part of the day for a summer walk!

We begin on some familiar paths across the golf course & up on to the Ridgeway with lovely views over PItstone. We then make our way across Stocks Road & head towards Ashridge, instead of the usual climb up into the woods we take an easy path down & make our way back to Aldbury across fields and back to the Church Farm Cafe for breakfast.

There is some parking in front of the pub but there is much more space along Trooper Road which is opposite Stocks Road. The full address for the pub is Greyhound Inn, Stocks Rd, Aldbury, Tring HP23 5RT. The full address of the cafe is Church Farm Cafe, Station Road, Aldbury, HP23 5RS.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
