Midweek Walk: ASHRIDGE HOUSE circular via Frithsden

This new fairly flat 6 miles walk takes us from Ashridge House down to the Golden Valley. We head up through Frithsden Copse to the war memorial then past Berkhamsted Golf Course. We pass through Frithsden Beeches and skirt around Berkhamsted Common before returning to Ashridge House. The walk should be pleasant at this time of the year and should not take much more than 2.5 hours. After the walk, we can visit the Ashridge House cafe for refreshments.

Please check your route before setting off and use the link to Google maps as the post code can be misleading.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Please be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
