This walk is approx 9 miles & should take around 4 hours with a stop at the Buckmoorend Farm Shop cafe.
We leave the car park & make our way to the monument & some spectacular views! We then walk through Low & High Scrub woods before passing through the village of Dunsmore. After Hambleleaf wood we arrive at Little Hampden it’s then on through Chisley wood & a stop at the farm cafe.
After refreshments we pass Chequers, skirt around Beacon Hill & on to Ellesborough Church. After a short section of the Aylesbury Ring we cross the golf course & then take an up hill path back to Coombe Hill.
