This walk will be led by Malcolm it’s a short 4.6 mile walk which will take less than 2 hours. We begin in the picturesque village of Aldbury and set off along Stocks Road, we then cross several fields keeping to low ground with the Ashridge woods high above.
We pick up the Ridgeway with views of Pitstone windmill & the chalk pits (soon to become a nature reserve) before crossing the golf course & making our way to the Church Farm Cafe for breakfast.

There is some parking in front of the pub but there is much more space along Trooper Road which is opposite Stocks Road. The full address for the pub is Greyhound Inn, Stocks Rd, Aldbury, Tring HP23 5RT.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make Malcolm aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
