Aston Wine Club - Jane Dooley, South Africa

NOTE EARLIER START TIME. We welcome back Jane Dooley from the Association of Wine Educators. She will be presenting wines from the Franschhoek Valley in South Africa.

Pay £20 immediately when you press Attend and write in the comments section that you have paid. Bank details are below. Arrive by 7:30pm for a glass of wine before we start at 7:45pm. Event finishes around 10:40pm.

There will be a cheese and biscuit buffet half way through. You will need to bring a small plate and two wine glasses.

"In January this year my son got married in the magnificent Franschhoek valley which gave me the opportunity to visit some of the wineries in the area and taste a few of their outstanding wines. So when asked to present another South African region, Franschhoek came to mind! "The French Corner" is tucked into the mountains a few miles inland beyond Stellenbosch. It is a tiny picturesque town surrounded by vineyards that climb up into the mountains.... I hope to give you a small taste of this beautiful region."
