Sunday Walk: Great Gaddesden Garden Centre via Ashridge

This is a new 10 mile circular walk from The Hemel Hempstead Garden Centre in Pipers Hill which is just off the Leighton Buzzard Road, near Water End. We will stop for a short break on the walk so please bring a drink/snack.
From the garden centre we take some familiar paths & head towards Clement’s End & pick up the Chiltern Way to Lt Gaddesden. We then make our way across the golf course & past by Ashridge House (a quick loo stop). After crossing the Golden Valley we pick up the Hertfordshire Way back to Gt Gaddesden & the garden centre cafe.

Please use the overflow section of the car park, at the far end as you drive in.
After the walk, we can have some refreshments in the Garden Centre café. The post code for the Garden Centre is HP1 3BY.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
