This 8.5 miles circular walk takes as from the park, past Halton Airfield, over the Wendover canal & on to the woods. We take a low path around the woods before a steady climb up to the visitor centre where we can stop for a short coffee/loo break. It’s then a long descent through the woods to retrace our steps back to the cafe.

The cafe has undergone a major refurbishment and has a decent choice of food and drinks with ample seating room. There is ample free parking space and toilets are also available.
