Midweek Walk: Wigginton to Beacon View

This is a 6.5 mile walk beginning at the village café and shop which should take about 2.5 hours. The route takes us along Wick Street and on to Tring Park. Then downhill through field towards Tring Station where we pick up the Grand Union Canal to Cow Roast. We then follow the Chiltern Way back to Wigginton.
Once we return to Wigginton, there is the option to take refreshments in the village shop where there is seating next to the field.
The address for the car park is The Sports Ground, Wigginton HP23 6HH. If the car park is full, there is parking available along the road.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.
Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
