Set in 1977 in Brazil it follows Marcelo, a tech expert, caught in the political turmoil in the midst of the Brazilian military dictatorship and forced into hiding in a seaside boarding house. Reconnecting with his young son while searching for answers about his long-missing mother, he discovers that hired killers have arrived from São Paulo. As the police look the other way and carnival festivities rage on, danger inches ever closer.
