Wednesday Evening Wiggington Walk

Due to the failing light this will be our last Wednesday evening walk of the summer

We meet at the Wigginton village cafe car park (the cafe will be closed).
This will be a reversal of our usual evening walk so that we finish in open ground to maximise the available light.
We head off to pick up the path along Grim’s Ditch then into woodland before our final stretch across open fields & a short section on the road & back to the car park. The walk is approx. 4.5 miles & should take less than 2 hours.

Once we return to Wigginton, there is the option to take refreshments in the nearby Greyhound pub.
The address for the car park is The Sports Ground, Wigginton HP23 6HH. If the car park is full, there is parking available along the road.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make Malcolm aware if you have any medical conditions.
Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
