Walking in a Wokingham Wonderland, 5 miles, easy

This 5-mile circular walk will take us round Cantley Park and Keephatch Nature Reserve.

Walk details

The walk will start from outside the main entrance to Wokingham train station. After a short section of pavement walking, we will head through woodland before reaching Cantley Park. We will walk through the park and then walk round Keephatch nature reserve before walking back round the other side of the park. We will then head in to town and towards the station. For those who want to stay for a drink we will head to The Broad Street Tavern.

By public transport

If travelling from Reading, please get either the 18.09 train arriving at Wokingham at 18.23 or the 18.19 train arriving at Wokingham at 18.28.

By car

There is a paid car park at Wokingham station. You may be able to park in some of the streets nearby but please check signs as parking restrictions may apply.

• Please bring a drink and a snack.
• Please note: there is NO lunch stop on this walk.
• It might be muddy – please wear suitable footwear.
