Matthew's Birthday Walk, 4.5 miles, leisurely (BOOKING_REQUIRED)

This walk requires advance booking via Meetup and is limited to 15 walkers. Please do not turn up without booking, only sign up if you intend to come, and cancel in good time if you can no longer attend so that someone else can take your place.

Pace: medium.

This will be a leisurely walk, It will start at Pangbourne and follow the Thames trail along the river. We will end up at Purley on Thames. We will then turn back along Spring's farm and follow the trail to Reading Road, which will lead us back to Pangbourne train station. The trail is mostly flat, we will get a good view of the river as we walk along the Thames Trail!

After the train station, you have the option to join me for drinks at the Swan pub, which will be down the road from the station!

The terrain is fine but may be a bit muddy, so you will need to wear walking boots. There will not be a lunch break, but feel free to bring snacks!

Please travel on the 12.25 departure from Reading if travelling by train.

By car

Parking is available at Pangbourne station (charges apply).

Dogs

Dogs welcome on this walk, provided they are kept under control at all times and placed on a lead when requested by the walk leader.
