BOOKING REQUIRED: Pangbourne to Sulham to Pangbourne, 8 miles, easy

An 8 mile walk from Pangbourne.

This walk requires advance booking via Meetup and is limited to 20 walkers. Please do not turn up without booking, only sign up if you intend to come, and cancel in good time if you can no longer attend so that someone else can take your place.

Pace: gentle.

Walk details

We will be walking from the train station down the Thames Path to Springs Farm and out at Reading Road. We will then go to Beach Road to enter Sulham. We will walk through Sulham and come out at the top of Dark Lane. We will then circle around and follow Reading Road back to Pangbourne.

The gradient is flat for the majority of the walk.

We will be going to The Swan afterwards for drinks for those who want to come.

Please travel on the 11.25 departure from Reading if travelling by train.

By car

Parking is available at the station - charges apply.

Notes

• Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
• It might be muddy – please wear suitable footwear.
