Racing around Ascot (reprise!), 8 miles, leisurely

We start our race at Ascot station, hurtling through the high street to cross Ascot Racecourse (don’t worry there’s no races at this time!). After crossing the racecourse, we gallop across town towards Woodside where we have the chance for a stop at our first pub (they serve great coffee for those not inclined to drink before lunch). We then jump across the Crown Estate towards the Great Pond where we will have our lunch stop. After lunch, we’ll stop at our second pub in Cheapside before our grand finale sprint back to the station.

For those taking the train and coming from Reading, please get the 9:39 arriving at 10:09. If this train is delayed, then the start of the walk will also be delayed. Parking available at the station.
