Details
Today’s evening walk takes us around Reading and Caversham. Starting at Reading station, we’ll pass Forbury Gardens, Reading Abbey and the Kennet & Avon Canal towards the River Thames, where we turn towards King's Meadow. After this, we’ll cross over the salmon ladder to walk across View Island, which we cross towards Hill Meadow and Christchurch Meadows. At the latter of these, we walk through towards Caversham Bridge, which we loop back on ourselves to return to our finishing point at Reading station. For those who want a pub stop at this point, we’ll be stopping at The Three Guineas, which is next to the station.
