Lardon Chase evening circular, 4.2 miles, Leisurely
Details
Today’s evening walk takes us to Lardon Chase, which on a clear evening offers some fantastic views of the Thames Valley. Starting at Goring & Streatley station, we’ll head towards the River Thames and Streatley before walking up Lardon Chase, where we’ll admire the view. After this, we’ll head towards the car park and following woods, after which we walk down the hill and follow the footpath almost to the road to turn left onto a footpath that takes you parallel to it. We’ll then follow this back into Streatley, where we’ll then cross over the Thames back towards Goring to finish the walk back at the station. For those who want a pub stop at this point, we’ll be stopping off at The Miller of Mansfield, which is a short walk from the station.
