Walk details

This walk starts from the Oxfordshire town of Radley; home of Radley College. The first part of the walk is through the grounds of Radley College towards Abingdon. We then walk to the village of Sunningwell at which there is a 100 ft ascent up Boars Hill (not too strenuous). We'll stop for lunch at the top of Boars Hill. We then walk back to Radley through the countryside.

By public transport
Take the 10:14 train from Reading arriving in Radley at 10:37

By car
We will meet at Radley Station car park. Parking fees apply.

Dogs
Dogs welcome on this walk, provided they are kept under control at all times and placed on a lead when requested by the walk leader.

  • Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
  • It might be muddy – please wear suitable footwear.
